The B75 blade is not only an IntegralBlade, it is also a Quantum blade, another groundbreaking technology that Siemens introduced in 2011. Quantum blades are lighter than previous models while retaining the superior strength of earlier generations. The root section of these blades uses Siemens “flatback” profiles to minimize root leakage and provide greater lift. The blade tip has also been redesigned to minimize loads and reduce noise levels.
